Athlete Highlight - Rosa Walsh-McCann

It comes as no surprise to anyone that Ireland is home to some talented martial artists - pugilism runs strong in their blood, as you know - but go ahead and add another name to that roster: Rosa Walsh-McCann. 

You may have already heard of her. One of the most prolific competitors in the European circuits, Rosa has been regularly hitting the podium in events across the continent, from IBJJF and AJP to Grapple Kings and Grapple Fest. Then she shocked the jiu-jitsu world when, as a brown belt, she subbed long-time black belt Nathalie Ribeiro at the ADCC Las Vegas Open. Now a black belt, she's already proving herself to be a formidable threat on the mats.
