IBJJF Europeans Sponsor Since 2012

Since Kingz Kimonos was founded in 2011, we have had two main missions: produce the very best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gis, grappling gear and accessories in the world... and help grow and support the entire jiu-jitsu community.

You already know how well we succeed in our first mission. This is one we take very seriously, being practitioners ourselves. Because of that, we have a finger directly on the pulse of the jiu-jitsu community. We see what it needs, what it likes, dislikes, and we can test all of our ideas right there on the mat.  

Our second mission is one that is near and dear to our heart. And we continually strive to meet this in many different ways, some of which you - our friends - have been directly affected by:

• We provide sponsorships to exceptional athletes, so that they can commit more time to doing what they love. 
• We support important causes within the jiu-jitsu community, by creating exclusive products and donating the proceeds. An example of this is our Instituto Leandro Lo collection. 
• We provide jobs for dedicated, hard-working athletes in our city, allowing them to make a career in the jiu-jitsu industry.
• We provide gis and gear at wholesale prices to academies around the world, supporting them in their goals to make a living from jiu-jitsu.

Last, but certainly not least, we have also been one of the biggest - if not the biggest sponsor of large jiu-jitsu events around the world.

This we have been doing since shortly after we founded. For example, one of our first major event sponsorships was the 2012 IBJJF European Jiu-Jitsu Championships. But...why do we sponsor these events? Because events likes these help grow the entire jiu-jitsu community.
