Scariest Things on the BJJ Mat

October, the spookiest month of the year. For many, it's a time for cheap thrills in corn mazes and haunted houses, binge watching decades of terrible horror films, scrambling for last minute costume ideas - many of which are "sexy" versions of very unsexy things - and passing out various forms of sugar to small humans that don't belong to you. 

For others, it's a very real time in which the barrier between us and the ghostly world is permeable. Any number of scary things can happen... did that cup just move??

But it's also a time in which we can appreciate that there are some scary things that surround us every day of the year. A few of those exist in our very refuge: the BJJ academy.
